Q. What is the length of commitment?
A. There is no long-term commitment. All rent is on a month-to-month basis. A 30 day notice is required before a resident can move out, unless there is a specific change in the resident's health care status that requires a more intense medical regiment.
Q. How is the bill paid?
A. Residents or families generally pay the cost of independant living from their own financial resources. Some types of health insurance or long-term care insurance may reimburse for all or a portion of the retirement cost. The Executive Director or Community Relations Coordinator will be happy to review costs and offer assistance to ensure that all financial avenues are researched for each resident.
Q. May Residents decorate their own apartments?
A. The residents' apartments are their home. Furnishing and decorating are the responsibility of the resident and their family, or friends. The Executive Director and Community Relations Coordinator are available to assist with any logistical concerns. If you have more questions about decoration, don't hesitate to ask!
Q. May I have friends come and visit?
A. Residents' friends and family are always welcome. If staying for a meal, a reservation is required and there is a nominal charge. Residents are also encouraged to have celebrations or meetings in one of the many common areas. Contact the Administrator or Community Relations Director for more information.
Q. Are Residents allowed to have pets?
A. Because we value the time-tested connection people have with their pets, we invite you to have your small pet live with you at our community. We want you to smile, laugh, and feel good! We accept most small pets, and have minimal deposit requirements to make the necessary accommodations. Please call or email us through the contact form for more details.
